Your mission 

The corporate medical advisor is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the corporate medical plan by: establishing strategic scientific engagement plan and creating product-specific evidence that supports the value proposition of key products. The role ensures alignment with the company's strategy, as well as scientifical lead for brand teams with medical expertise ensuring a collaborative work and effective communication with external and internal stakeholders as other Ferrer Corporate Areas, Ferrer subsidiaries and partners.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the global medical affairs strategy and tactical plan for strategic products.
  • Lead global evidence generation plan for strategic products.
  • Interpretation of key relevant scientific data, identify unmet medical, educational and research needs within the medical community.
  • Drive the development of impactful scientific and medical education messages and materials through medical expertise, customer insights and understanding of launch strategies.
  • Drive Multi-/Omni-channel medical communication.
  • Lead the scientific communication engagement strategy.
  • Develop external relationship with relevant medical groups and key stakeholders through a comprehensive engagement plan.
  • Provide medical evaluation and approval for promotional and educational materials.
  • Critically evaluate available information about diseases of interest to the therapeutic area and the competitive landscape and synthesize information succinctly to support dissemination and incorporation into clinical development programs, new products, and therapeutic area strategy
  • Ensure a close working relationship with all functions in country and corporate including sales, marketing, market access and patient advocacy.

Requirements

What you’ll need to succeed 

 

You will rock at this company if you are a person with empathy, humility, curiosity and optimism.

You will rock at this role if you match with:

  • +5 years of previous experience as Medical Affairs Advisor; regional or global experience is a plus.
  • Previous Therapeutic Area experience in Neurological Disorders and/or in rare or orphan indications.
  • Degree in Medicine, preferably.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to relate to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills as well as an ability to communicate clearly and concisely in writing.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work in a cross functional matrix mode.
