The EU Regional Medical Science Liaison is a critical position and has a European multi-country scope.
As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) you will be, together with the Head of in-field Medical Affairs and Respiratory Medicine Regional Medical Advisor, responsible for supporting and implementing the Early Access Programs for specialized Pulmonary Hypertension (PAH) and Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) Pharmaceutical Products.
You will support Medical Education Projects focused on healthcare professionals such as physicians, PAH specialists, pharmacists, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the therapeutic area of PAH and ILD.
You will be a key team member by identifying treatment trends in the medical scientific field and provide cross functional feedback internally.
You will build excellent partnerships with health care professionals.
Presenting medical scientific information and managing medical or scientific marketing projects will be part of your duties.
To be successful, the role must be able to work in a matrix setting internally with Pricing and Market Access in field resources and Corporate Regulatory Affairs, while establishing stable liaison relations with key Healthcare Professionals in the external environment.
The position will report to the Head of in-field Medical Affairs, of the Corporate Medical Department.
Completed Biomedical or Medical education at Master or PhD level
Previous Therapeutic Area experience in Pulmonary Hypertension and Interstitial Lung Disease
Previous experience in rare or orphan indications
Knowledge of EFPIA code of conduct guidelines, especially those that apply to Medical Affairs
Understanding of GCP guidelines specially in the scope of:
- Phase II-IV company sponsored interventional trials,
- RWE generation: NI trials, Early Access Programs / Named Patient Programs, Investigator Sponsored Research Support
Good communication skills in English and languages of supported countries
