Your mission:

Ferrer is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Marketing & Market Access team as a Head of Marketing for the Pulmonary Vascular and ILD Therapeutical Area (HCMPV&ILD). This role will involve overseeing global marketing strategies within the Pulmonary Vascular & ILD therapeutic area, ensuring the Disease Marketing teams effectively define and execute strategic initiatives. This role focuses on achieving business objectives through cross-functional collaboration, fostering innovation, and driving responsible, patient-centered solutions. Aligned with the company’s commitment to equitable healthcare and sustainability, the HCMPV&ILD ensures that marketing strategies not only enhance patient access to transformative therapies but also contribute to a positive societal impact.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Leads a team of Senior Disease Marketing Managers, responsible for PAH, ILD, Devices, and future potential indications within the therapeutic area. Drives the development and empowerment of team members, ensuring they are supported, coached, and inspired to reach their full potential.
  • Fosters a culture of strong cross-functional and transversal collaboration, ensuring seamless integration of the marketing team within the broader organization.
  • Shapes and leads the global marketing strategy for the therapeutic area, driving cohesive execution across indications, functions, and geographies. Oversees and ensures the successful execution of processes supporting disease-focused strategies across all relevant markets.
  • Acts as a key external ambassador for Ferrer, embodying the company’s purpose in all interactions with key stakeholders such as KOLs, clinicians, and relevant healthcare institutions.
  • Provides strategic marketing leadership for the assigned TA and indications, driving data-informed decisions aligned with global priorities.
  • Ensures strict compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all marketing activities.
  • Acts as a key liaison with Business Development, supporting the evaluation of new opportunities within the disease areas and serving as a key stakeholder in alliance management with licensors.

Requirements

What you’ll need to succeed

To excel as the Head of Marketing for the Pulmonary Vascular and ILD Therapeutical Area (HCMPV&ILD) at Ferrer, the ideal candidate should possess the following education, qualifications, and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field. Master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing or related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position
  • Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including market trends, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards
  • Experience in managing disease-focused marketing strategies and driving patient- centered solutions
  • Leadership and team management skills to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performance marketing team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Compliance and ethical standards knowledge to ensure strict adherence to internal policies and industry regulations
  • Innovation and problem-solving skills to foster a culture of collaboration and drive responsible, patient-centered solutions.
