Your mission
Ferrer is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Corporate Medical Affairs team as Medical Head of Therapheutic Area, leading a team assigned in the area. This role is a critical position to Lead the design and execution of the near- and long-term global medical strategy for a Therapeutic Area within the company, forging bold strategic partnership with the healthcare ecosystem. Responsible for managing and developing the overall performance of the Therapeutic Area by ensuring alignment with the company's strategy, scientific lead through medical expertise and engagement planning, ensuring collaborative work and effective communication with other Ferrer Corporate Areas, Ferrer Subsidiaries and Partners, as well as key external stakeholders in the scientific and health care ecosystem.
The position will report to the Chief Medical Officer, member of the Board of Directors of Ferrer.

Life Sciences, Biomedical or Medical education at Master or PhD level.
4-5 years of experience in similar roles. Regional or global experience is a plus.
Pharma Life Science business expertise.
Previous Therapeutic Area experience in in rare diseases or orphan indications desirable.
Previous experience in leading teams.
Excellent command of English.
Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions.
Capability to work continuously in a cross functional matrix mode.
Very good Strategic, Analytical, and communication Skills.
