Job description

Your mission 

As part of the team Commercial Team, we are currently looking for a Product Manager reporting to the Sales Coordinator.

Your mission will be: Focus on sales and team management.

As a crucial part of the challenge, you’ll be planning commercial visits with clients and principals working together with the sales representatives, business managers and product managers.

Functions: 

  • Plan commercial visits with clients and represented parties.
  • In-depth knowledge of the products, their benefits and characteristics for their adequate promotion.
  • Obtain information about the market, identify needs, competition, etc.
  • Attending continuous training courses
  • Communication with the technical and commercial managers of the represented company.
  • Transmission to the management, to the rest of the commercial team and to the technical department of the company of everything related to the represented company.
  • Communication with the principal, internally and with clients regarding: new developments in the range of products managed, promotion, price negotiation and stock management.

Responsibilities:

  • Development of planned new markets
  • Follow up and respond to customer requests
  • Maintaining or improving the corporate image in customer relations with the client and principal
  • Plan and develop together with the principal the sales and promotion targets
  • Fulfil the sales objectives of the principal
  • Aligning the principal's objectives with those of Ferrer.

Requirements

What you’ll need to succeed

  • EDUCATION: University degree in one of the following areas: Chemistry, Food Engineering, Food Science and Technology, Chemical Engineering, Veterinary Science, Biology.
  • EXPERIENCE: Preferred sector of the companies of origin: Food Industry (Desired functions performed: R&D, Quality)
    Approximate experience in similar positions: 4-5 years
  • SKILLS: Office automation SAP, Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
  • PERSONALITY: Teamwork, proactivity, empathy, planning and organisational skills
  • LANGUAGES: English medium-high level, French desirable
