Your mission 

Reporting to the Corporate Controlling Director, you will lead the controlling function for R&D, Regulatory and Medical Affairs areas, coordinating the team in the development of the Business Partnering model and generating management information for decision making.

 

Responsibilities

  • Implementation and continous development of business partnering model with the different areas of responsibility, establishing a recurring monitoring of business performance.
  • Deployment and active contribution to the strategic initiative based on beyond budgeting, aimed at changing the organization's management model in an environment without a budget, developing elements such as targets, forecasting and resource allocation models.
  • Lead and elaborate at corporate level the strategic planning process of the areas under responsibility, as well as the subsequent processes of validation and review.
  • Global R&D projects finance follow-up, both the ones led in Barcelona, as the ones headed in our site in California.
  • Monthly closing and analysis of the main impacts in order to build the reporting to Management Comitee members.
  • CAPEX and OPEX analysis and follow-up.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate and align input data, solutions and outcomes, formalizing and updating processes as necessary.
  • Develop and contribute to business cases and scenarios in collaboration with the business areas to enable value decision making for business oportunities.
  • Leadership and/or contribution in corporate projects, both providing relevant information for the analysis, and participating in the discussion forum and decision-making.
  • Lead and guide team memebers by ensuring performance and suporting growth and development

Requirements

What you’ll need to succeed 

 

You will rock at this company if you are a person with empathy, humility, curiosity and optimism.

You will rock at this role if you match with:

  • Bachelor's or Degree in Business Administration / Economics or similar equivalent.
  • Sound Experience in Controlling in a global/multinational environment, and team leadership with strategic decision making.
  • Highly valued previous experience in the Pharma, health or similar sector.
  • Advanced English level.
  • Strategic business vision, excellent analytical skills, and knowledge of system trends and management tools such as SAP & analytics, BI tools (Qlik, SAP Analytics Cloud...)
  • Leadership and team development, impact and influence, Team player, strategic vision, empathy, active listening, ability to build value relationships and Business Accument.
