R&D Search and Evaluation Advisor

Ferrer seeks a scientist able to proactively search for and scientifically/technically evaluate external and internal opportunities, provide unique and differentiated value-adding insights, and contribute to developing and defending proposals to the senior management.

Candidates should apply their scientific training to adequately understand the strategic drivers in the biopharma industry in an excellence-driven, fast-paced and transversal and collaborative working environment.

Serve with an interdisciplinary perspective contributing with his/her solid scientific background to provide expert scientific and technical assessment of promising therapeutic opportunities across the strategic therapeutic areas of the company.

Evaluate emerging opportunities by working in close partnership with key research, clinical, business development, and commercial colleagues across Ferrer, focusing on the scientific and technical merit to advance opportunities through diligence and development.

Lead cross-functional diligence teams to deliver filtered viewpoints, identify critical points, and build up sound-based proposals for presentation to senior management.

Establish networks to proactively follow the scientific and technological competitive landscape in the strategic therapeutic areas of Ferrer.

Demonstrate an ability to communicate complicated multidisciplinary information.

The position will report to the Director of R&D Search and Evaluation department within the Corporate R&D Area.
