Job description

We are looking for a R&D Project Manager who will be the key player of R&D project management at Ferrer. The role includes management of pharmaceutical projects up to commercialization and support to PMO activities. This position will interact with almost all company departments in multidisciplinary team’s matrix organization and will be fully accountable for Project Performance.

 

Your Responsabilities 

  • Support in definition of Target Product Profile, Business Case and Project Plan
  • Manage R&D teams translating project strategy into scope, timelines, milestones, risks and costs
  • Implement & keep updated Project Plan
  • Keep realistic baselines (scope, time & cost)
  • Coordinate assigned resources
  • Pro-actively monitor project performance
  • Identify risks associated to assigned projects and define contingency plan
  • Gather Project Performance Data
  • Report status of assigned projects to the Development Committee and other functional responsible (i.e. key internal and external stakeholders)
  • Generate and share project’s information and knowledge
  • Active support to PMO in design and implementation of cross-project activities

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Life Sciences, desirable PhD and Master Degree in Project Management.
  • Proficient level of English.
  • 3 years of relevant work experience in R&D and drug development in healthcare or life science industry
  • Understanding of the drug development process (i.e. Pharmaceutical Development, Clinical Research, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, etc…)
  • Understanding of and application of principles, practices, and standards of pharmaceutical project management
  • Able to support highly complex multiple activities simultaneously
  • Sensitivity and knowledge of cultural differences
  • Capability of understanding and communicate both scientific related elements of R&D projects
  • Team player able to foster collaborative environments
