Your mission 

Ferrer is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Marketing & Market Access team as a Head of Corporate Marketing Excellence (HCME). This role will involve overseeing the management of mature brands within the portfolio which involves identifying and leveraging opportunities for improvement to transition from traditional brand management to a more advanced mature portfolio management strategy. The ultimate goal is to ensure that mature portfolio management delivers meaningful impact while optimizing resource allocation and aligning with our mission.

The HCME is also responsible for defining and implementing key global marketing processes, sharing best practices between global and local teams, global marketing upskilling programs and any key process related. Additionally, the HCME acts as a crucial link with other functions such as Commercial Excellence, Medical Excellence, and Digital, Data & AI (DD&AI).

 

Responsibilities

  • Leads a team of Senior Marketing Excellence Managers, driving their development and empowerment through coaching, support, and inspiration to help them reach their full potential.
  • Fosters a culture of strong cross-functional and transversal collaboration, ensuring seamless integration of the Marketing Excellence team within the broader organization and serving as a role model for cross-departmental partnership.
  • Oversees the strategic management of the mature brand portfolio, leading the development of Strategic Mature Brand Plans and ensuring portfolio optimization, maximization of ROI, and the transition toward a more advanced, value-driven portfolio management approach.
  • Identify opportunities to apply generative AI in marketing processes, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed AI-initiatives into strategic marketing planning & decisions.
  • Monitors and reports on mature portfolio performance, providing strategic insights to guide decision-making and ensure alignment with corporate goals. Sets and tracks team and area objectives for continuous improvement.
  • Defines and drives the implementation of key global marketing processes, ensuring strategic alignment and operational consistency across global and local teams.
  • Leads the design and delivery of global marketing excellence programs, focused on continuous upskilling and capability building of marketing teams at both global and local levels.
  • Drives the capture and sharing of best practices across countries, fostering a culture of knowledge exchange to elevate marketing capabilities globally.
  • Ensures strict compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all marketing activities.

Requirements

What you’ll need to succeed

Additionally, we are looking for a professional with the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field. Master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing or related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
  • Proven experience integrating AI-driven solutions to optimize and drive efficiency, personalization, and data-driven decision-making in corporate marketing strategies.
  • Strategic mindset to lead the transformation of corporate marketing through emerging technologies, with a strong focus on artificial intelligence and advanced automation.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize resource allocation
  • Leadership and team management skills to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performance marketing team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills to navigate complex challenges and drive continuous improvement
